The Saddleback Marathon has been re-routed due to the #HolyFire. This year the marathon is an out-and-back on technical single-track for nearly the entire race.
Pre-Race Bib Pickup is available the Friday before the race from 4:00 to 10pm. Camping is available (see details)
Runners who find it difficult to make the cut-off at the turnaround point may opt for a 6:30 am start.
Southern California's premiere trail marathon was first run in the Saddleback Mountains of the Cleveland National Forest in 1988. An annual event for nearly three decades, it was cancelled due to #HolyFire on its 30th anniversary in 2018. Saddleback Mountain trails are where so many of us in Southern California fell in love with trail running.
