Pursuant to California Gov. Newsom’s order and reopening timeline, we will not be able to hold Billy Goat next month. Live sports events are scheduled to reopen for the final phase of the governor's plan. Therefore, we are postponing Billy Goat to October 3, 2020.
Due to the fact that Indian Truck Trail remains closed (#HolyFire), Billy Goat is re-routed to start/finish at Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona, CA. The climb will begin by crossing Bedford Wash and heading up to the plateaus where you'll quickly meet up with Bedford Road. Don't be fooled by the re-route, keeping tradition with the past 9 years, Billy Goat is a long climb. Zig-zag up the mountain on this truck trail to the Main Divide. From there, continue climbing to the base of Bald Peak for a total of approximately 2,700' of elevation gain before heading back down for a downhill Billy Goat finish.
Race day registration available, permitted space is available (cash only, email to confirm space)
Race day entry includes race day shirt, finish line refreshments, finishers' medals and special awards for top three finishers.
Parking is free, onsite, at Eagle Glen Golf Course. Park in lot at left of entrance.
(A=first aid, W=water, F=food)
This race does not allow refunds of any kind. Race entries will be applied to 2021 Billy Goat should this race get cancelled due to circumstances beyond the race director's control (fire, government, shutdown, etc).
